Anywhere for 30 days, Gov. ruling during war – Bill passed last May. First aid attendant must be on every ambulance or $100 fine per day to be enforced in August. Class started at office last night.

A.M. had to have physical for job – took her to Dr. Bursey. He vaccinated George & gave him Schick Test – then Dr, Howard fitting him for glasses – came home & ironed some.

Got up at 5:30 – ironed steady until 1:30 – Ollie sent wire 12:30 last night – She had left St. Paul at noon – didn’t sleep any more – received another wire at 12 noon – says she will be in at 12:26 tomorrow. Goody!

Worked in yard all morning, celebrated Winnies Birthday (yesterday) Coffee at Neta’s. Melvin’s girl friend, Ruth Upchurch, stays alnight with us. (So does Neno)

Easter Sunday School, Kids gave me a lovely cosarge of Red Roses, White Kid gloves & George Lewis who is spending his furlough with his mother sent me a boquet of spring flowers & Alice M an orchid. George Shannon certainly got a kick out of Easter more than Xmas.

Did the laundry. The painters started in on the outside of the house George S told the one painting screens, when he had done painted about 1/3 of them “ you need not think you are through, all these windows have screens”

Jack to the Dentist at 9:30. I feel Dr. Helbing at 2 P.M. refers me to specialist instead I go to Dr. Bursey

Went to see Dr. Bursey says I must be operated (repair) will have it done. Sometime in June after the boys are out of school. Jack takes sick food poison.

Canteen feeds soldiers at Farrington Field. George S & I take violently ill from food poisoning.

George L. returns from trip home. Is A.M. happy, Spends the rest of furlough with us.

Ida came and cleaned house, it rained hard. I tried to work, had to stop. Tried to keep my appointment with beauty parlor, they had trouble with plumbing, & I had a flat tire. What a day.
