C. Kenton:
The diary was written by my grand mother on the north side of Fort Worth, Texas. Good question. It never occurred to me to name the city.
About the Sharps:
I do not remember them. Uncle Jack may. It looks like:
Safe to assume Harold Sharp was too old to serve in WWII; like my grandfather.
Mr. Sharp was probably a member of Moshla Shrine Temple. May 19, ’44 enrty
Mrs. Sharp was Ester Ruth Sharp December 21’42 & others.
They had lunch together a lot. July 14, ’42
Mr Harold Sharp at Shrine Dance Feb. 7, ’42

It is interesting that you are researching your home. My mother took on such a project and stumbled across an important historical find. While looking up information on her childhood home she discovered that the house next door was originally the first public building in North Fort Worth. It is now the "School House" in Fort Worth’s Log Cabin Village.
