Picked up all day. My mother gave me a framed motto picture on my 10th Birthday & as a girl I always had it hanging in my room. She asked that I have it for my motto. “To thine own self be true, thou shalest not be false to any man” Shakespeare. We saw a picture show last night “This Above All” based on that motto Joan Fontaine & Tyrone Power.
“Wartime romance rarely is more attractive than in This Above All, a wonderfully entertaining film, even if it ends up paying little more than lip service to the serious issues it raises. These issues include class consciousness and the morality of war”
