Monday 1-Jun-42 Laundry, Luncheon at school for teachers didn’t go Sewed Ol has really been busy Tuesday 2-Jun-42 Sewing to get Ollie off to camp. School is out (this is bad) Lost my sugar cards for preserving. I’m about to bite myself.  

 Wednesday 3-Jun-42 Cann Young Berries $2.00 crate. 

 Thursday 4-Jun-42 Canteen meeting 10:30, Sunday School luncheon at noon, picture for canteen at 3, cubs meet here at 4. Who may have the canteen pic? Is this BSA Cubs for George? 

Friday 5-Jun-42 Luncheon at Sunday School meeting gave me food poison in bed all day. 

 Saturday 6-Jun-42 Coffee with Neta. Tried to sew. Talked on phone ALL DAY. 

 Sunday 7-Jun-42 Ol went to camp for Ollie. 

 Monday 8-Jun-42 Took Ollie to bus station. She is to be a counselor at Cleaburn for one week for Camp Fire. 

 Tuesday 9-Jun-42 Canteen Square Dance cleared $200. $120 Donated, sure had a good time. Canned potatoes all day Square dance may be in newspaper. 

 Wednesday 10-Jun-42 Deposited check for Canteen. Patrol 

 Thursday 11-Jun-42 Canned more potatoes. Washed and had cub meeting. Stag Party for shrine. 

 Friday 12-Jun-42 Com. Meeting for Home Nursing Board 10AM Kiwanis Picnic at Rockwood In evening (didn’t go) Ol went to Dallas I played rummie. 

 Saturday 13-Jun-42 Ol went to Waco with Divan on Shrine Ceremonial, I worked played rummie at house. 

 Sunday 14-Jun-42 Ollie will have her hands full this Summer; Neno, Dutch, Markey, Charlotte, several other Blue Birds are in camp with Ollie. I thought it was Father’s Day, cooked cake had to prepare for 25 for fellowship. A.M. always busy with Some. Ollie goes to El Tosoro Miss Dot picked her up in Cleburne. Alice Marie has fellowship here. “Some” may be “Son” Cooper 

 Monday 15-Jun-42 Raining, no help. 

 Tuesday 16-Jun-42 Introduced teacher for Home Nursing Class at Denver, See Divilian Defense picture afterward. Denver was Denver avenue Elementary School and now is Brusiro Mendoza Elementary School. 

Wednesday 17-Jun-42 Canned 6 qts. Of Green Beans. Night Club at Garrison’s 

 Thursday 18-Jun-42 Canteen meeting 9 AM. Had nice meeting club meeting, Kids are not responding. Played rummie at house. 

 Friday 19-Jun-42 Cleaned house canned 10 pts. Of pineapple. First Christian Church had fellowship in our back yard. Went to Leroy Stewart’s afterwards. 

 Saturday 20-Jun-42 Coffee with Neta, gathered my vegetables out of my yard. 

 Sunday 21-Jun-42 This is Father’s Day sure enough. 

 Monday 22-Jun-42 I really accomplished a lot today but am I tired. 

 Tuesday 23-Jun-42 Ol went fishing at Possum Kingdom with Lawrence and Horace Carswell. 

 Wednesday 24-Jun-42 I sold tickets today for Base Ball game for Red Cross, I mean I sat in the Continental Nat. Bank - no sale. Ol came home with 12 fish. 

 Thursday 25-Jun-42 Cub meeting here had the family of 19 down for fish, Elsie & children stayed over. 

 Friday 26-Jun-42 Cub picnic in park we enjoyed it very much. Boys are better after our having had attended. 

 Saturday 27-Jun-42 Sold tickets this morning for same Ball Game sold two. Missed coffee with Neta. Watered yard took nearly all day. 

 Sunday 28-Jun-42 Sunday School with Marzell. She is sure lonesome without Bradley who is in the Army now. Ol took Jack & Bill fishing. 

 Monday 29-Jun-42 Worked all day at home how do things get in such a shape. Visited Wyatts in eve. They brought me a large bottle from Georgia. 

 Tuesday 30-Jun-42 Surgical dressing personal has changer in the dept. (didn’t go) it hasn’t changed enough. Worked at home again. Home Nursing Luncheon. Does this refer to "“Mink Coat Brigade takes charge " See: Jan. 20 entry.
