Night Club here. Alice Marie started working for rationing board today.

Cubs meet here, made plumb jelly, consume, and water melon rhine preserves, canned pineapple.

Another full day of work at home. Bought some of canteen equipment.

Going to celebrate by just loafing.

Going to see Ollie at camp, had a nice trip. She looks grand.

Ol & Oscar Wyatt went fishing today at Possum Kingdom Dam, to be back Friday. Alice Marie informed me tonight in a kidding way if I didn’t quit Warting her she would get a room downtown. She would love to so she could just read & go all time. Suits me.

Warting – has to do with “worry warts” one of Ol’s favorite expressions?

Socks paid Jingle a visit now we will have Collie Pups, I am so mad I could die – just wrote Ollie.

Jingle was Ollie’s dog. Who has the tapestry that mom needled for Munnie that shows Ollie dragging Jingle home.

Canned little irish potatoes this morning. Town in afternoon to see about A.M. glasses ordered two pair. First day I have really rested in a month, feel better too.

Just more work played rummie with the folks

Ol came home from fishing they had a good time & brought home lots of fish

Ma’s Birthday, Beauty Parlor. Patrol picnic at Ernest Allen’s Ol played poker afterwards.

Celebrated Ma’s Birthday dinner, Ol& I went to sa party at Pumphrey’s also.

Home Nursing Com. Didn’t make it. Talked on phone all morning. Bought canteen equipment.

Dave & Jonnie Pumphrey, Margaret Petteway & Ester Ruth Sharp had lunch with me, we played bridge later.

Ol took Pa fishing at Eagle Mt. Club at Wyatt’s tonight. Set up canteen.

Picnic for N. Ft. Worth Garden Club at Jesse Martin’s. Ol didn’t go he had to work.

No Sunday School, Ollie & I went to picture show in afternoon. I was sleepy all day.

Shower for Morison Ringler at Lovelaces at 9PM. Alice M. went I took Ollie back to Camp.

Finished up with my teeth got glasses $46.00. Gee guess I better not try to see.

Club at Barretts. I won the stamps.

Jack & Georges Birthday Ice cream & cake for kids in neighborhood they had a good time. Ol & I had dinner with Helbings. Canned corn.

Worked all day. Cub picnic in park. Just had 7 little boys. Sleeping in my back yard.
